Long-length wick pin designed to create perfectly centred wick channels in seamless round candle moulds.
This wick pin temporarily replaces the wick during pouring, allowing you to create a clean, straight cavity once the candle has fully set. After demoulding, simply remove the pin and insert a pre-tabbed wick from the base of the candle.
Ideal for taller pillar moulds where accurate wick alignment is critical for burn performance.

Correct wick positioning is essential for even melt pools, reduced tunnelling, and consistent burn behaviour. A wick pin allows you to adjust wick size after demoulding, improving production flexibility.
Insert wick pin into mould prior to pouring wax.
Pour melted wax as usual.
Allow candle to fully cool and set.
Remove candle from mould.
Push wick pin out from base to create wick channel.
Insert pre-tabbed wick into formed cavity.
Designed to fit seamless large and small round moulds.
Own testing is recommended to determine suitability with different wax types and shrinkage rates.
Wax shrinkage can vary between paraffin, soy, and blended waxes, which may affect channel tightness.
