Basil Essential Oil

Ocimum basilicum.
Basil Oil is an essential oil steam distilled from the basil leaves and flowering tops. Basil oil is also used in aromatherapy for its therapeutic properties and has a soothing and relaxing aroma.
Pure essential oils such as basil oil are highly concentrated and should be handled with care.

CAUTION: As with all essential oils, dilute into carrier oils before applying them directly onto the skin. Keep oils away from eyes and mucous membranes. Keep out of reach of children. Stop using if there is any irritation. Research each oil well before using. Some oils cannot be used by those with certain health conditions.
