Dimensions:
Bowl width: 30cm
Width including handles: 36cm
Height (no lid): 29.5cm
Height (with lid): 36.5cm
Spout length: 4.6cm

NOTE: Tap may need gentle heating to melt any wax that may solidify inside the tap. Adjust the thermostat to about 85C (185F) for heating. Turn on the power switch and heat for 18 minutes then the faucet can release the wax!
Ensure that the wax level when in use does NOT drop below the tap level to avoid overheating.
Set the thermostat 10-20 degrees below where you want the wax temperature to sit until you are familiar and comfortable with how the melter heats and rests. Stir the wax slowly during the melting process to circulate the heat more evenly.

Please note and consider prior to purchase.
Temperature control is critical — however, it is important to understand where to measure it.
While it may seem logical to monitor the temperature directly inside the melter, this often provides an inaccurate reading. Melters can have heat variations and hot spots, meaning the temperature at the base or near the heating element may be significantly higher than the rest of the wax. This can lead to misleading readings and potential overheating.
For this reason, best practice is to draw the melted wax into a pouring jug and measure the temperature there. Once transferred, the wax becomes more evenly distributed, giving you a true and consistent temperature reading. This ensures greater accuracy when adding fragrance oils, colourants, or pouring — all of which rely on specific temperature ranges for optimal performance.

By measuring temperature in the jug rather than inside the melter, you maintain better control over your process, protect the integrity of your ingredients, and achieve a more reliable, high-quality finish in your final product.
