Bath Whip

Until stocks last we have a very limited supply of bath whip for our Mother's Day bath scrub promotion.  Check out our blog for the full recipe.

Our new formulation Bath Whip is a very versatile soap product to create foaming bath products like body scrubs, foot scrubs and cleansers.

Bath whip can be used as is, or warmed and then whipped. Whip product for around 5 - 20 minutes then add 10% carrier oil, salts or sugar to make various whipped products.  After whipping the product can be piped into various shapes and will hold its form.

This product adds a whole new dimension to your soaping repertoire.

Our Body Whip is fragrance free. You can add fragrance, however we recommend thorough testing in small batches starting at 0.25% and small incremental additions. The maximum fragrance load is 2%.  Addition of fragrance will change the look, feel and viscosity of the product.

 Directions for use:

 “Cold Whip”

Spoon out your Bath Whip and place into a mixing bowl. You can now add a wide range of ingredients, such as Carrier Oils, Essential Oils, Salts, Sugar, Fragrances, Colours, Botanicals and Additives to customise your whip product. Add these to the soap base.

Whip the product gently with a hand mixer and gradually increase the speed of the mixer. Continue to do so for approx. 20-30 minutes, ensuring that any fragrance, additives you have added are evenly distributed throughout the whipped foaming bath butter base

When you are happy with the consistency of the product you can then package as required.

“Warm and Whip”

Melt the bath whip until it has a soft butter-like consistency, add your oil/salt/exfoliant/colour/fragrance and then whip with a hand mixer until your desired consistency is achieved. The product should “fluff-up”, however it is important not to over-whip as it will collapse. Pipe into shapes, or spoon into containers
